Our Story
Our story starts somewhere you might not expect: six months on deployment with the British Army. It's really the story of a dad who wanted feeding his kids to be easier.
2022
The Spark
More Toddler Meals began when Ed was deployed with the Army and saw how hard it was for his wife to cook for their toddler every day, so he used the freeze-dried technology he knew from the Army to make healthy meals that are ready in minutes with hot water.
His mission is simple: help parents feel proud of what their toddlers eat, wherever they are, without the guilt.
2024 - 2025
Creating a Stir
We started receiving recognition from industry experts and parents who understood that change was needed in the baby/toddler category. Parents were being let down and we became even more determined to rebuild that lost trust.
2026
Our Launch
Building on our success of launching onto Ocado, Ed leaves full time employment and commits fully to More Toddler Meals. This is the year that everything changes for us and we're striving to help more parents with feeding their little ones no matter where they might be.

Freeze-dried is better
Freeze drying keeps food fresh and helps the planet! By removing 75-80% of a food’s weight, it cuts transport loads and boosts fuel efficiency by up to 45%. Plus, with no need for refrigeration or freezing, it saves energy – using the same amount as just 10 days in the fridge or 23 days in the freezer.
Recyclable pouches
Our pouches are made from recyclable LDPE, making it easier to give them a second life. We’re also continuously exploring new ways to reduce our plastic use even further, ensuring we make choices that are better for the planet and future generations.
Locally sourced ingredients
We prioritise sourcing our ingredients as locally as possible within the UK, ensuring freshness and supporting local producers. However, due to seasonality, some ingredients may come from the EU – but never from beyond. This approach helps us maintain the highest quality while keeping our impact low.
Mindful manufacturers
We partner with BRC-accredited facilities that uphold strict anti-slavery and sustainability standards. One of our sites is also a proud member of SEDEX, ensuring ethical and responsible sourcing at every step.
